Cal Brubaker

Cal Brubaker and his F! Rocket that is about to hatch. I will get a bunch more pictures of this aircraft as it is really going to be one of the best in the country, both in workmanship and equipment. Try dual Grand Rapids EFIS for starters. Cal is also building a Bearhawk.

Lari Clark helping build it after he helped Wayne Lober finish his and just returned from flying a three month stint as 747 Captain flying the HAJJ. The are doing a lot of custom sheet metal and fiberglass work and it is a work of art.

What a great panel, Dual Grand Rapids EFIS's

The engine and cowling is coming along nicely.

Lots of help

Hmm! I think that would work. I lot of engineering going into this one

Trying out the seat

November 10, 2005 getting ready for first flight

Lets see now what are all those things Wayne told me to remember

Very first takeoff. She's is airborne very quickly

The group awaits

Return to earth. Cal makes a great landing. Not without a little drama as he lost some of his electrical systems.  He handled it very well

Had to push her home the final little distance as battery was dead from electrical problem.

Welcome Home

Congratulations from Wayne and Larry on first flight
